If you are in Reception or Year 1 at school why don't you come along to the Sandbach United Soccer School? Our coaches teach boys and girls the basics of football in a fun way. If you enjoy it, you could become an under 7's player when you reach Year 2. We train on Saturday mornings at 10 am until about 11:30 and the cost is £3 per week. Don't worry if you have not got any boots as trainers will do, but please bring your shin-pads!

Introduction to Sandbach United's Saturday Development Centre

The Soccer School is designed to offer a supportive and inclusive learning environment for boys and girls to experience Football for the first time. These sessions will be aimed at increasing confidence, teamwork in addition to the traditional technical skills.

Development is our priority. That development being in the form of both social skills and technical skills. The children will be challenged based on their confidence and ability with sessions ranging from Introduction sessions without a ball all the way through to academy sessions hosted by our professional partners.

For those wishing to join a team, once the children have progressed into year 2 they will be streamed into two teams. Sandbach United Eagles our development squad and Sandbach United our side aimed at challenging the most gifted and talented boys and girls. Each season thereafter, players will move regularly between these two sides as they develop their abilities at different pace to each other. Parents are reminded that players will benefit from playing with players of a similar ability and that the Club Football Development Officers and Age Group Managers will select the squads together, their decision on future squads in final.

Our girls will also be encouraged to develop relationships with the Girls section of the club, joining training at year 2 in preparation for U10's Football.

It all starts again in a few weeks so come down and see us:
