Are you up for a challenge? Sandbach United Ladies are looking for a coach who can take them to the next level !

Sandbach United Ladies Coach - Voluntary Position

Based in Sandbach (Sandbach Community Football Centre, Hind Heath Road, Sandbach, CW11 3LZ), however away matches are across Cheshire.

Sandbach United Ladies are a relatively new side and we will be going into our 3rd season in September 2019. We currently have a squad of 21 players however some are in and out due to being at university for the majority of the year. Players roughly range from being 18-30 years old and have mixed experience from a couple of seasons, up to playing from childhood. We are currently in the recruitment process as we recognise that we need to have a more reliable, quality squad to be seeking progression over the next few seasons. Over our 2 season in the Cheshire Women’s and Youth League we’ve been reasonably successful however we’re looking to progress further over the following season and beyond.

The role of Coach will consist of:
• Planning and delivering training sessions
• Helping develop/improve players technically, tactically and physically
• Motivating players to perform at the best of their ability
• Working alongside other members of the management team
• Being passionate about the female game
• Helping our Ladies inspire the next generation of female footballers

We’re looking for someone who feels they can enthusiastically take on this role to help us progress as a team and as a club. Someone with experience coaching in the female game and holds a FA Level 2 in coaching badge or higher would be ideal for this role however not compulsory. We would expect our coach to commit to every training session which take place on Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm. Availability for matches on top of this would be a bonus; Sundays 2pm kick off.

With the female game growing rapidly, we look to follow suit and use this as an opportunity to progress past our division, inspire young girls both playing and not playing the game currently and develop ourselves as players. To achieve our goals, we need a little help to be the best ladies team we can possibly be.
