Information for Groundhoppers & Visitors

In the 2016/17 season Sandbach United was promoted to the Hallmark Security Football League (previously known as the North West Counties Football League) which is at Step 6 of the football pyramid. The 2017/18 season saw the club enter The FA Vase for the first time and The FA Cup in 2018/19.

The first season in the league was more successful than expected, reaching the league play-offs by coming 6th, and being runners up in the Reusch 1st Division Cup. The team reached the play-offs for the second time in the 2017/18 season.

If you haven't visited us previously, you will find a very warm welcome for Groundhoppers at Sandbach, our bar is open for all matches and also serves food (burger, hot dog etc).

Please note that animals are not permitted, (with the exception of assistance dogs).

We produce a match programme for our home games and you can also buy a metal club pin badge (pictured).

Sandbach town centre (1.5 miles from the ground) also has several pubs which serve food and are well worth a visit. If you'd like an Indian meal, our sponsors The Ganges and Shampaan are both open from 5pm in Sandbach, tell them that Sandbach United sent you!

By Car

We are only 5 minutes from the M6 Junction 17.

From the M6 Junction 17 turn onto A534 towards Sandbach, travel to traffic lights and go straight across the lights, travel to roundabout and take 2nd exit, travel to next roundabout and take 1st exit onto Crewe Road. Stay on this road for 1 mile and turn right at the traffic lights into Hind Heath Road. You will find the ground on the right hand side opposite the cricket club (3/4 of a mile from the traffic lights).

By Train

Sandbach is well served by the rail network as Sandbach station is only 1 mile away. Crewe mainline station is only 5 miles away and trains to Sandbach run every half an hour or so (please check the National Rail web site) and only take 7 minutes.
