Sundays AGM saw two of the clubs most prestigious awards presented.

During Sundays AGM the club awarded two of its most prestigious awards, Club Person of the Year and Young Club Person of the Year. The clubs committee had several nominees to discuss and the decision wasn't an easy one. The Club Person of the year was unanimous, Dani Taylor adds her name to list of previous winners. Dani is just 19 years old but mature way beyond her years. Dani plays as goalkeeper for the ladies first team as well as coaching both the first team and Under 12 girls. Dani also handles all social media for the first team and has brought in several much needed sponsors. Liz Clark, Girls Football Development Officer said "I think Dani will go far and i believe she will be a top woman's coach in years to come, i am very proud of her and all she has achieved".

Young Club Person of the Year was not such an easy decision to make, so for the first time in the clubs history the award was shared three ways. Rochelle Ramroop, Adam Hall and Ben Potter all sharing the award.Rochelle is 17, a qualified referee and Level 1 coach, she coaches one of boys teams and referee's at the club most weekends and plays for both Under 18's and the First Team. Adam who is 14 has only been at the club for a year but has shown great personal strength to become a vital part of the Under 14's Harriers team. His courage and passion saw him quickly become Vice Captain of the team and is a huge asset to the club. Ben is 15 and has been at the club since the age of 8. Ben does everything with a smile on his face and is Sandbach through and through. Despite his young age he has recently started playing open age football and has aspirations of playing in the first team in the future. Having spoken to a few of our coaches, the club believe Ben could be doing just that within the next couple of years.

Congratulations to all four winners and thank you for the commitment and dedication you have all shown.
