The midfielder comes back to the club after heavily featuring over multiple seasons for Sandbach, and began the current season with the squad. He scored the first goal of the Ramblers campaign with a close-range strike against Brocton in a 3-1 Ramblers win. He subsequently featured in four more games before leaving the club to join Cheadle Heath Nomads.
Evans’ played in 12 games for the Nomads, 6 of those as a substitute. He scored once for the Manchester side, opening the scoring against us at the ProSeal Stadium with a low shot from outside the box. Sandbach eventually won the fixture 5-3 after a blitzing second half performance, scoring all five goals in the second period.
After a brief stint with rivals Alsager Town, Evans re-joins the Ramblers and should be available for selection against his old side Cheadle Nomads, as they visit Hind Heath Road this upcoming weekend.
